can headshots be taken on a digital camera? Question asked by a client
December 20, 2009
I am a professional HeadShot photographer capturing corporate clients and actors chasing their dreams. Have been doing digitally, since 2004 – when this question was more common.
Today most professional photographers use digital camera’s to capture headshot’s. When looking for equipment, now a days, the sensor ( or film ), is far less important than the quality of your lens. Most digital cameras have a sensor from the same manufacturer, and the main difference is the software that interprets the sensor’s captured image and the lens that views and interprets everything.
If you are starting to photograph portraits for people… Worry more about making them relaxed, feeling in the moment… Than what camera to use.
