Recently Vancouver has lost it rating by united Nations for being the best City to live in, but I am subjective, I love this City and would like to share my – Top Five Reason’s why Vancouver is the best City in the World.
Number 5 – Reason why Vancouver is the best City in the World
Fresh Air – While Vancouver is one of the most densely populated major cities in North America having New York City, San Francisco and Mexico City ahead of Vancouver for the most densely populated cities in North America. We have fresher air than most Towns or Villages, can anyone find a city with 2 million plus that has our fresh air?
Number 4 – Reason why Vancouver is the best City in the World
The Stanley Park – Unlike other large urban parks, Stanley Park is not the creation of a landscape architect, but rather a forest in the downtown area of Vancouver that is almost entirely surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and filled with wild life and some old growth. Stanley Park was named the top urban park in the World by Trip Advisor in the Summer of 2014.
Number 3 – Reason why Vancouver is the best City in the World
The People – Vancouver is a city with people ( Vancouverites ) that are progressive, permissive and assertive. This small city is by international standards has one of the largest movie industries in the World, progressive entrepreneurs re-inventing the Yoga Culture with Lululemon the only Olympics without soldiers. Making Hollywood Stars feel free to walk around without paparazzi in a place with people of all cultures and gender preferences, living gay and safe.
Number 2 – Reason why Vancouver is the best City in the World
Its Beautiful – One of the few cities where one can water ski and winter ski the same day. We have nature, architectural ingenuity, no ugly highway’s polluting our downtown. Bike friendly, clean and beautiful.

The Rain – We have rain, lots of rain which means that in a few years when most of the world is plagued by draught we will also be the most liveable city in the World. Water is the most valuable resource, according to 60 minutes of November 16th, 2014 replacing oil as one of the most desirable commodities.
We can grow all vegetables, fruits, with lots of rain to grow anything we want. Which also means that we have the greatest insurance policy for being a great city today and in the future, thanks to our Rain
