Jennifer Schuman brings a lifelong passion for people, art, and storytelling to her role as a professional headshot photographer in Chicago. Growing up in a family of nine, and now a mother herself, Jennifer has a deep appreciation for celebrating connections, hospitality, and creating magic through her lens.
With a career spanning two decades and two fields—architecture and photography—Jennifer’s work is informed by her rich global experiences. She has lived in 12 cities across 4 continents and contributed to iconic projects, from Tiffany’s in New York to the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. Her creative journey began when she photographed the people and landscapes of Spain’s Basque Country for Gente Viaggi, an Italian travel magazine, capturing beauty in its purest form.
Jennifer’s talent has earned her Portrait Masters Bronze Awards from 2018 to 2022, yet her greatest achievement lies in making clients feel comfortable, confident, and extraordinary. Understanding that many people feel camera-shy, she takes pride in creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience that brings out their best.
Beyond the studio, Jennifer combines her love of travel and portraiture by leading excursions to Costa Rica, where she captures breathtaking waterfall portraits. Her artistic eye, honed since her mother first taught her to use an SLR at 19, continues to transform ordinary moments into timeless, stunning images.
