Art of Headshots moves to downtown Vancouver
December 21, 2014
On December 23, 2014, Art of Headshots moved to downtown Vancouver. We are now located in the Electra Building at #229 – 970 Burrard Street, Vancouver BC V6Z 2R4.
This new location offers clients access to our studio services in a professional premise within easy walking distance of Vancouver’s downtown core. The area is served by public transit via Translink, which operates buses and the Skytrain from Vancouver International Airport to the city’s hub. Parking is also available at the new YMCA or at the Scotiabank Theatre on Burrard Street.
The Electra Building was built in 1957 as the new headquarters for BC Electric Company. Ronald Thom designed the 21-story, 89-metre-high building, claiming it to be the tallest building in the Commonwealth at the time. Its unique architectural designs boasts the best of that era. Four years later, it became a part of a new provincial crown corporation named BC Hydro.
We will continue to use Olympic Village for outdoor headshots, upon request.
We thank all the clients who have been photographed in our home studio during the last five years. And we extend a warm welcome to you to visit us in our new studio in 2015.
